Are you considering transponder scoring for your track?
If you are, be sure to consider the Trackside Transponder.  Trackside has a proven record in managing data for motocross race promoters for over 10 years.
Your track can use the same software and hardware that is used to score races such as Loretta Lynn's, World Mini Grand Prix, Lake Whitney Spring Classic, GNC Final at Oak Hill and the Mini O's.  See the race result links at the left of this window to see the data Trackside can create from the lap times it collects.

Do not let others give you mis-information about what they can offer.  We will put any offer in writing and let you know the price of all equipment up front.            FACT
Trackside Software is NOT compatible with AMB transponders.

System Configuration
The hardware for the Trackside timing system is easy to set up.  It is portable and can be taken from one track to the next allowing a group of promoters to share a system.

AFFORDABLE
Setting up the transponder system is easy. All cables are provided.  It is not possible to plug something in wrong as there is only one connection possible for each cable.

The system starts with a detection loop placed across the track to create a finish line.  This works as an antenna for the system.  The detection loop is a 14 gauge wire which is placed in conduit across the track.  The detection loop plugs directly into the reader which sits at the edge of the track.

The reader powers the detection loop and recognizes when a transponder has passed over.  It then sends a message with the transponder ID and time-of-passing to the Master Interface.  The reader and Master Interface are connected using the data transmission cable.  This cable comes in increments of 25 meters (82 feet) and is capable of covering lengths up to 1,000 meters.

The Master Interface will sit close to your PC and be connected to it via a USB cable.  Trackside Software communicates to the transponder system through the Master Interface.  All messages sent and received go through the Master Interface.
